Land-Based Tournament

Entry Fee: $30.00 Per Archer

   Welcome to the 2026 Texas Two-Step!  We are the only tournament in the world that uses this unique format that combines scores from 2 separate tournaments co-hosted simultaneously over a two day period.  All award winners will be determined by adding scores from both the Grand Prairie site and the Arlington site.  Teams must register and shoot at BOTH locations to be eligible for awards.  Any team registering at only 1 location will be removed from the competition to free up those spots for teams needing to compete in both tournaments.  Archers can only be registered by a NASP BAI coach for the school group.  All NASP protocol regarding practice time during the school day of at least 10 hours must be followed.  

Rosters must be identical for both locations to be eligible for TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL AWARDS.  Coaches, please make sure this rule is followed.  

The Texas Two-Step awards are special!  We will award the following prizes to archers and teams for the 2026 Texas Two-Step.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

1.) 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD PLACE PLAQUES WITH CERAMIC BOOT FOR MALE AND FEMALE IN EACH DIVISION (6 AWARDS FOR ELEMENTARY, 6 FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND 6 FOR HIGH SCHOOL).

2.) $1,000 SCHOLARSHIP will be awarded to the TOP MALE AND FEMALE ARCHERS IN THE HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION ONLY.

TEAM AWARDS

1.) CHAMPIONSHIP TEXAS SHAPED PLAQUES WITH CERAMIC BOOTS WILL BE AWARDED TO THE CHAMPIONS OF THE 2026 TEXAS-TWO STEP IN EACH DIVISION (ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE, AND HIGH SCHOOL DIVISIONS).

2.) THE TEXAS TWO-STEP HAS A PERPETUAL TRAVELLING TROPHY THAT GOES TO THE HIGHEST COMBINED TEAM SCORE OF THE TOURNAMENT FROM ALL DIVISIONS COMBINED. THE WINNER WILL HAVE THEIR NAME ENGRAVED ON THE TROPHY AND GET TO KEEP IT FOR A PERIOD OF 1 YEAR BEFORE RETURNING IT TO THE COACHES WHO SPONSOR THE EVENT THE FOLLOWING YEAR TO AWARD TO THE 2027 WINNERS.  IT IS THE COACHES RESPONSIBILITY FROM THE WINNING TEAM TO RETURN THE TROPHY AT LEAST A WEEK BEFORE NEXT YEARS TOURNAMENT.  THE COACH IN POSSESSION OF THE TROPHY IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS SAFE-KEEPING, AND ENSURE NO DAMAGE OCCURS TO THE TROPHY.
